If something urgent comes up, you can definitely call or text.
Absolutely! It’s very common for children to cry with a new sitter. It’s a big adjustment for them – they miss you, and it takes time to warm up to someone new. Here’s the good news: most children adjust quickly, especially with a warm and engaging sitter. Just like making new friends, it might take a little time and patience.
During the booking process, you can provide detailed instructions for the sitter in a designated section. You can also discuss any specific needs directly with the sitter before the session begins.
It’s okay to feel a tug at your heart when your child cries with a new sitter. It’s a normal sign of their love and attachment to you. Here’s the good news: this doesn’t mean your child won’t have a great time!

Absolutely! Once you find a sitter you love, you can easily schedule recurring sessions with them by sending us an e-mail info@tenerife.baby.
Since payments are typically processed online, it’s not necessary to leave cash unless they want their kids to explore paid activities with the sitter.
If you’d like your sitter to take the kids on any paid outings (like the Monkey Park, Loro Park, Jungle Park, etc.), please discuss this directly with them in advance.

You can book a babysitter up to 3 months in advance, ensuring you have reliable childcare for important events or vacations.
We accept all major credit cards and secure online payment methods. If you prefer to pay in cash, please contact us by e-mail hello@tenerife.baby.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. In case of a power outage, they can suggest fun and engaging indoor activities like board games, storytelling, or arts and crafts.
Depending on the severity of the situation, the sitter may suggest you return home early if safe to do so.
We encourage open communication between parents and the sitter to determine the best course of action.

In the rare case your sitter needs to cancel, we will do our best to find a suitable replacement sitter for you. If this is not possible, you will receive a full refund for the session.
Free cancellation: 24 hours or more before the session.
Cancellation fee:
50% of the session cost for cancellations within 24 hours.
100% of the session cost for cancellations within 12 hours
While our services are centered around taking care of children, we can assist with basic pet care tasks during our babysitting sessions. This includes feeding, ensuring pets have water, and letting them outside for a short break.
For families needing more extensive pet care, we offer pet sitting as an add-on service. This can be discussed and arranged when booking our childcare services.
If you have specific pet care needs, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your request as best as possible or refer you to a trusted pet care provider.
