Welcome to Tenerife.baby, your trusted babysitting service in Tenerife. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Definitions

  • Company: Tenerife.baby
  • Client: The parent(s) or guardian(s) booking the babysitting service.
  • Babysitter: The individual provided by the Company to care for the child(ren).
  • Service: The babysitting service offered by the Company.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: All bookings must be made through our official website, app, or by contacting our customer service.
  • Payment: Payment must be made in advance via the methods specified on our website. Rates are provided at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation: Cancellation:
    • Free cancellation if made 24 hours or more before the session.
    • 50% of the session cost for cancellations within 24 hours.
    • 100% of the session cost for cancellations within 12 hours.

3. Responsibilities of the Client

  • Accurate Information: The Client must provide accurate information regarding the child’s needs, allergies, medical conditions, and any other pertinent information.
  • Safety and Environment: The Client must ensure a safe environment for the babysitter, including providing emergency contact information and any necessary supplies for the child(ren).
  • Respect and Conduct: The Client is expected to treat the babysitter with respect and provide a safe and respectful working environment.

4. Responsibilities of the Babysitter

  • Care and Supervision: The babysitter will provide attentive and responsible care and supervision of the child(ren) during the agreed hours.
  • Health and Safety: The babysitter will follow all health and safety guidelines and will not leave the child(ren) unattended at any time.
  • Professional Conduct: The babysitter will conduct themselves professionally and respect the Client’s home and privacy.

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Insurance: The Company holds public liability insurance. However, the Company is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur due to negligence on the part of the Client.
  • Liability: The Company is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of property during the babysitting service.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Data Protection: The Company complies with data protection laws and will not share the Client’s personal information with third parties without consent.
  • Confidentiality: All information about the Client and the child(ren) will be kept confidential and only used for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Amendments and Termination

  • Amendments: The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.
  • Termination: The Company reserves the right to terminate the Service if the Client breaches any of these terms and conditions or if the babysitter feels unsafe or threatened.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tenerife.
